Join us in San Diego, CA for a one day, action-packed conference held at the Marina Village Conference Center featuring keynote speaker Luke Bergmann, Ph.D., Director of Behavioral Health Services for the County of San Diego, Health and Human Services Agency.
You can choose from nine breakout sessions, attend an RI community meeting, enjoy evening entertainment and more. Plan to arrive a day early for the opportunity to join a local community meeting, visit the San Diego RI office, and connect with other RI members, Board and staff at a Meet and Greet event at the Marina Village Conference Center. Mingle in person with members you've only seen on Zoom for the last few years!

Members $125 Non-Members $150

Registration open until January 15, 2024.
A 2025 Regional Conference is planned for New York State!
If you are unable to attend the San Diego conference, more details about the New York conference will be shared in the spring. In 2026, look forward to a regional conference to be held in the Midwest.

Pre-Conference Opportunities - Thursday, February 15, 2024
10:00am RI Community Meeting
Travel got you worked up? Flight delays, crowds, rude travelers make good examples! All are welcome to attend an RI Meeting led by Lisa Garcia at Temple Emanu-El, 6299 Capri Drive, San Diego, C, 92120.
1:00-3:00pm RI Office Open House
Always wondered where San Diego staff work their magic? Wonder no more. Visit the office and meet the staff.
4:00-7:00pm Meet & Greet and Conference Check-in
Meet your San Diego Area 25 team at the Marina Village Conference Center. RI San Diego Board members, Judi Bakke and Randy Silverstein, along with RI Staff, Lisa Garcia and Eric Gonzalez, are your evening hosts. Meet other RI staff and your fellow conference participants at this casual reception. Mingle with your peers, get involved in ice-breaker games (or not), enjoy an array of hors d'oeuvres and participate in a sing-a-long with RI's leader and musician, Jack Nalbandian.

8:00am - Conference Check-in and Continental Breakfast
Begin your day by getting your name tag, program book and swag bag. Enjoy a continental breakfast while you mingle with your peers.
9:00am Welcoming Remarks and Keynote Address
Kick off the conference with a warm welcome by RI President Celinda Jungheim. Then, keynote speaker Luke Bergmann, Ph.D. will present "From Crises to Continuous Care: Building a Better Behavioral Health Continuum."
10:30-12:00pm Morning Breakout Sessions
12:00pm Lunch break and Speakers
Enjoy a leisurely Mexican lunch buffet, greetings from Mary Wheeler, Community Research Foundation, followed by a question and answer period with RI staff.
2:00-3:30pm Afternoon Breakout Sessions
3:45-5:00pm Afternoon Breakout Sessions
5:15pm Dinner Break and Music
Round out your day with an Italian buffet dinner followed by the musical talents of Jack Nalbandian.
7:00-9:00pm Evening Entertainment Opportunities
After dinner, you are welcome to stay longer for music, socializing, an RI community meeting, or games and art.

Lodging Options Near the Conference
There are eight hotels networked with Marina Village Conference Center that offer a discount on rooms. Click HERE for the website for hotels and discounted room rates. The closest hotel to the conference center is The Dana on Mission Bay - about a 15 minute walk to the conference center.
Other Options
The Holiday Inn Express San Diego – Sea World is nearby. While not part of the Bartell Hotels group, it offers a slightly more affordable option. (Approximately a 5 minute drive or 30 minute walk to the conference center.)
The Hyatt Regency Mission Bay is nearby for those who would like a more upscale option. (Approximately a 12 minute walk to the conference center.)
